The Research On Assessment Of Urban Livability In Old Industrial Base

Cities have become the focus of research on the world in the 21st century, but the complexity of city make it faces a series developing and perfecting problems. Developed cities have already change their viewpoint to comfortable and livable, urban livability is one of the hot topics within the realm of international research in urban science, and it recently becomes the focus of global government and city residents, while China is still on the way of groping who is in the process of urbanization and industrialization. Livability is defined as"quality of life"as experienced by the residents within a city or region. The motive of study and assessment of livability is to ensure cities'long-term development and lead a continuable way of the planning.Northeast old industrial base is the first heavy industry base of China, but in the 1990s, the regional economic status in the country has slid unceasingly. In 21st century, with the implement of the strategy about regenerating the northeast old industrial region, the development of the regional economy in northeast of China is getting from the bottom into a whole new stage. Meanwhile, the urban human settlements are facing unprecedented challenges and chances.The main target of the article is: on the basis of summing up domestic and foreign research on the theory and practice of livable city, combination of the characteristics of urban human settlements in the old industrial base, do research and evaluation about the urban livability of old industrial base, and take Anshan as the example to make the empirical analysis, to provide reference for the construction of livable cities.This article first take the statistical data as a foundation, refers to the domestic and foreign research results, and combined with the development situation of human settlements in northeast old industrial base city, considering the economic, social, environmental and other factors, to construct a livable city evaluating indicator system, consist of 5 Second-level indexes as economical development, environment amenity, living comfort, public safety, cultural abundance and 28 Third-level indexes. Constructed by Analytic Hierarchy Process, through the model carry out the suitable for living in the city of the region, evaluation results reflect the city's overall suitability for living. Anshan's livable index is 0.76, the evaluation for the three-grade and is generally suitable for living.Then, to look at it in another way, do assessment of livability made by residents in this city utilizing the method of social survey. Study the satisfaction of residents and various degree of satisfaction in urban interior, then presents the spatial distribution of livable satisfaction using MapInfo. Anshan's livable satisfaction of the residents is 72.7, Anshan's city livability is general satisfaction from the residents'point of view, and has certain differences in the city internal.Moreover, it studies the relationship between economic development and city livability, and establishes the fitting model, there is a great consistency between economic development and city livability of Anshan, the city livability is unceasing improved with the economical development, explains that Anshan has also made the corresponding consummation of urban construction while economy was developed.Finally, this paper optimizes countermeasure suitably in view of the question, which the old industrial base faced by the construction of livable cities.
