Ice and snow in winter make airport pavement,road and bridge can't flow freely,which are of much impact on production and living of people.There were various defects existing in conventional methods to deicing and snow-melting.The method of conductive concrete is new ,environmental and efficient. GSIFCON is one kind of cement based composites, which is diphase conductive concrete composed of cement mortar, steel fibre,graphite, the rust inhibit and so on.This paper studies resistance stabilization of GSIFCON slab,electroheat,outdoors snow melting in winter based on previous research.And finite element model is founded to simulate snow melting with heat transfer theory and parameter of material.The contents of this paper mainly include the several aspects:1.After a series of electrify experiments on GSIFCON slab with various power, the rules of resistance variation are found on various condition of temperature.At the same time it is concluded that resistivity of GSIFCON remain unchanged before and after snow melting based on research of experiments.2.Resistance and resistivity are worked out with data measured by experiments,which used alternating current for temperature rising. Experiments showed that surface temperature of slab can rise up to 6℃per hour under the power which ranges from 100 W/m~2 to 300 W/m~2.It indicates that GSIFCON is of perfect electrothermal effect. At the same time it was made sure how PTC (the positive temperature coefficient) effect and NTC (the negative temperature coefficient) effect affect GSIFCON during the process of temperature rising by theoretical analysis.3. Experiments of snow melting were carried out twice by GSIFCON slab,and snow was melt fine. It indicates that GSIFCON is a kind of fine electrothermal material.It can meet the requirement of snow melting in winter.4.Heat transfer boundary condition of snow melting model was made certain by heat transfer theory. Parameter of GSIFCON was also worked out.5.Finite model of snow melting is founded based on previous research.The distributing of temperature field was worked out by numerical simulation,and comparison was made with practical experiment of snow melting.
