On Evaluation Of Marine Traffic Safety Of Areas

Because of heavier marine traffic, more and more accidents, the huge losses of human life and property, the serious influence of the area, the enormous threat of the development of economy, and the inadequate of study situation of domestic and overseas on assessment of marine traffic safety, the thesis divides the sea area into many units, gives a set of common evaluation method on marine traffic safety situation, and makes quantitative assessment on marine traffic safety situation in the sea area, based on the results of the evaluation, proposes some better programs to improve safety situation, so this can improve the efficiency of marine transportation, reduce accidents and protect area environment.This thesis analyzes the current methods of the safety assessment, and reviews the application of these methods for marine traffic, chooses the best method for this research and improves the method based on the actual situation.On the basis of the domestic and overseas study of marine traffic safety, according to the principles of choosing evaluation indicator, selects the indicator of impacting marine traffic safety, and the relationship among these indicators, gives all the indicators'degree of result of evaluation.According to the results of evaluation, this thesis suggests improvements for the sea area safety, improves the efficiency of marine transportation and reduces accidents.
