The energy and the environment issues are the urgent problems which now need to be solved for the human survival and the development. Wind energy is a clean cyclic pollution-free energy. All countries exploit emphatically it, the point of the development makes use of the wind power machine to convert the wind energy into the electric power. Our country also accelerates wind turbine's independent development. The wind turbine's independent development needs to break through certain key technologies, and equipment condition monitoring is a key technology which can inquire deeply characteristic of unit operation and fault status. Currently it is the hot research in the field of wind power industry overseas. Our country is still at the primary stage on this research. Wind turbine's monitor technology contains many contents. The vibration test technology is the key one of them. The main contents that the paper studies:1. Analyzed the vibration situation of the large-scale wind turbine to be clear about the spots that easy to have the faults and the vibration mechanism of the unit, and mainly analyed the characters of the increasing speed gearing box where unit faults frequently occurs.2. Tested the gear boxes'and various parts'vibration of two debugs equipment, vibrates the signal using the MATLAB software to the unit to carry on the data analysis and processing, then gained relevant conclusions. On the one hand, which detected the main drive system's movement which is installed whether steady or not and detected the transmission system. And to the new equipment's installment, debug the technical guidance and the safeguard, which play a tremendous role for the condition monitor; On the other hand, it made a practical basis for the condition monitoring system to decide the final point and the signal processing methods.3. Designed a set of perfect large-scale wind turbine condition observation system, contains the measuring point's selection, sensor's shaping, the vibration threshold value hypothesis, the networking system's establishment and so on.
