Research Design Of Waterscape In Urban Residential Area

As one of the most attractive landscapes, waterscape has been widely applied to modern urban environment design. It has changed into an indispensable element of new residential areas. The waterscape quality has also become an important indicator of the grade of residential areas. But now waterscapes in residential areas haven't played their proper effect and function role,because for one thing many community waterscapes are the artificial water body ,for another there are many faults in design. Waterscape design in residential areas has been discussed in this study by collecting a large number of materials and datas . For this purpose, I made a lot of survey in this field.First, let's review the development process of residential waterscape, It contains the theory analysis and the elaboration about residential area waterscape's concept, characteristic, function, type and so on . The paper also proposes the community waterscape design trend of development:human-centered design,ecological design, integrated design, cultural and artistic design,using new maerials and technique ,regional design. Following my long-term waterscape design and the construction practice,the design has been deeply carried on the discussion about essential factors of residential areas waterscape. With a view of Shangqiu, this essay attempts to discuss on the design technique and regional characteristic of waterscape in residential areas. After it was studied from headwaters,water quality and operation, the paper then proposes the corresponding measures about sustained waterscape design .At last, these measures are confirmed entirely in Lakefront Garden of Hangzhou.
