With the development of the economy of our country and the continuously increasing possession of the vehicles, the society advanced higher requirements for capabilities and environment protection of the automobiles. The conventional engines using carburetors could not solve the problems of emission pollution and energy saving. So the electronic technology is applied in the automobiles widely. It not only increases the power, economy and safety, but also provide more comfortable environment, which satisfies the continuously demands of people for the automobiles.This paper first discusses the major content of the vehicles engine electronic technology , the composition and working principle of the fuel injection system. The main task of Electronic Fuel Injection System is to control the fuel injection quantity. The control of fuel injection quantity is the control of of air-fuel ratio, through the control of air-fuel ratio, we can achieve the control of the fuel injection.Throughout the control strategy, control method is very important. This paper analyzes the commonly used control methods of the fuel injection system; PID control, based on the model of air-fuel ratio control method and based on artificial intelligence air-fuel ratio control methods. Then, the paper mainly discusses the control of air-fuel ratio, the basic fuel injection pulse width, the injection timing and the control of conditions of the engine fuel injection quantity in detail.1.
