As the fast growing of national economy, increasing traffic tension is becoming a key factor that restricts the development of economy. Consequently remitting and improving traffic condition has been a urgent problem. As a late-model land transportation, the magnetic suspension train depends on the electromagnetism force suspending the train in orbit and moves forward by the liner synchronous motor. It has no a carriage wheel or corresponding transmission-mechanism and no machinery touch with the floor. Above all, it can stably works in high-speed. Meanwhile, the cost of the motion and business are low and there is no environmental pollution which makes it a prospect development.In the first, the dissertation summarizes the magnetic suspension train simply. Setting off from the characteristic of the magnetic suspension train, it introduces the magnetic suspension technology as well as some relevance knowledge of liner synchronous motor. Then, along with the finite element method, it calculates the traction force and the suspension force and analyzes the changes of them with each parameter under different condition such as the gas crack length,magnetizing current,armature current. At the same time, building the mathematic model of the liner synchronous motor with which it simulates the starting process of the motor,the steady state process. In seccession, the relation between the traction force and the suspension force calculated by both the finite element method and the model is briefly compared.At last, towards short-current problem of the magnetic suspension train, this dissertation analyzes the change of magnetizing current,traction force and suspension force when the train is operated in 50 km/h, 150 km/h, 250 km/h, 350 km/h during the period of short circuit happened.At one time, the change conditions of the traction force and suspension force when the train has the same speed but different short-current point are analyzed. All the processes of the short-current are simulated with the Matlab software.
