During the development of the technology and the improvement of the living standard, the building of the speed-up railway also develop in a new way in our country.Not only it can improve the efficiency of transportation, cut down the travel time,but also make more and more conmunications in economic,culture,commercial transaction between the cities. The speed-up railway passenger cars become the direction of the future development because of the advantages of rapid start, high speed,safe and comfortbale,low noise and vibration.In the sixth railway speed-raising,leading in the EMU(Electricity Multiple Unit) make more meanings.However, because of the high speed,the noise would make the amenity bring down.So it will be very important to reduce the noise in the railway passenger car,and make the passangers more comfortable.The noise pollution is harmful to listening,sleeping,mental and physiology. The noise pollution in the car include the noise from outer and the equipments in the car, the noise from the equipments is the most factor influence comfort properties.The main noise sources are wheeltrack noise, aerodynamic noise and collector system noise,the wheeltrack noise is the main noise of the car.The aerodynamic noise and the pantograph-catenary contact noise are obvious when the speed of train is above 200km/h.So it is the most effictive way to improve the train structure,choose the and sound insulation materials sound absorbent matrial, find and control the main noise source.To master the noise source distribution of the railway passenger car and the noise spectrum characteristic, we make a noise and vibration test to the EMU.Using the HEAD acoustics noise and vibration analysis system to test the noise and vibration to test the noise at the EMU power bogie,pulling motor,the middle of the car ,door and the windshield ,and also test the vibration on the floor and sidewall above the bogie and the middle car.Analysis the test data by using the ArtemiS software,and analysis the different velocities-the same point and the same velocity-different points situations on the EMU,make clear the noise tends to medium and low frequency. This paper focus on do research on the weak part of sound insulation—windshields,aim to reduce noise in railway passenger car.
