The electric motor is the main source of power in modern industrial production, and it is one of the most important electric equipment in our daily life,work,manufacturing. But the noise of the electric motor has serious impact on people's daily life.So the requirement to measure, analyze and reduce the noise and vibration of electrical motor involves great concern around the world. Digital Signal Processing is a new subject and it is apply to many subjects domain. Since the end of 1970s and early 80s the birth of the DSP chip, the DSP chip has been rapid development. In the past 20 years, DSP chips have been widely used in signal processing, communications, radar and many other fields. Therefore, it is an available solution to measure and analysis noise and vibration signals of electrical motor using DSP technology.In this dissertationa the study on noise signal and on-line detecting system of electric motoris developed using DSP technology. The main works can be divided into three parts. The first part is to analyse the reasons of the noise and vibration of electrical motor detailedly. The study of signal processing methods, such as time-domain analysis, time-frequency transform, frequency-domain analysis, and its application in vibration signal processing are conducted, frequency-domain analysis and its application in vibration signal of electrical motor are discussed in the second part. In order to verify the accuracy, some of the analysis of frequency are simulated, and applied these algorithms to the example of the analysis, to verify the feasibility in identify the electrical noise source. The third part of this paper is the design of measurement and analysis system of noise and vibration of electrical motor, use DSP TMS320VC5416 of TI Company in USA as the CPU, match some hardware equipments to set up a system of vibration signal's collection and process, such as A/D transformer,acceleration transducer etc.
