Study On The Impact Of Water Management On The Socio-economic Evaluation For Coastal Areas

Water is one of the basic materials in human existence and the development of society and economy. Its management has been an eternal subject for the management of human society. In such an agricultural country like China, How to take advantage of it has been a big event. Then the paper describes the status of water management in the coastal areas of water to find the existing problems.Then the paper in details discusses the significance of evaluating the socio-economic impact index system for coastal areas of water and the principles of founding the evaluation indexes system. At the same time, that how to choose indexes and how to establish the evaluation indexes system is researched. The socio-economic impact evaluation index system for coastal areas of water. Because there are too many indexes studied out to operate, this paper sorts the indexes based on their importance by AHP,some indexes which are less important are deleted, the index system is established which contain 35 specific indexes.In order to performance the socio-economic influence of the water in coastal area better, the influence of each basic index is classified into worst, worse, middle, better and the best, and the fuzzy synthetic judgment model is chose as the evaluation model .With the 2004 year's data of Longkou city in Shandong province to 2008 year's data, the socio-economic influence of water in coastal areas is evaluated in succession and the influence of each index in the socio-economic impact evaluation index system and the trend of each index is obtained. The result is: the water resourse system influence gradually strengthens on the society and economy and has strong power to the current rapid development of Longkou city. Because the development of water resources system can not keep up the demand for the socio-economic development, the socio-economic development to constraints become increasingly evident. Therefore, in order to achieve sustainable socio-economic development of Longkou city, it is necessary to achieve the rational development of the water resources, the utilization and the management. At the same time the protection of water resources should be concerned. So the socio-economic and environmental development and water resource systems of Longkou city develop coordinatly.Though the research on the socio-economic impact evaluation index system for coastal areas of water and evaluation method, the water resource influence of coastal areas of water is obtained. At the same time, we may not only know the developmental ability of water resource system of coastal areas but also know the corresponding ability of water system and society system,economy system and environment system. This provides important theoretical and practical benefit to carrying out the strategy of the water resource system of coastal areas' sustainable utilization.
