The middle of last century, a few major events happened in the modern history of the development of optical. In 1948 the invention of holography; In 1955 set up the optical transfer function; The birth of the laser in 1960 (strong coherent light source). At the same time, information theory also founded in 1948 by Shannon. The above-mentioned case has provided the conditions for development of the emerging disciplines of optical information processing. Fourier optics is the basis of optical information processing theory. The most basic operation in Optical information processing is the Fourier transform. Fourier transform lens are the basic components of information processing systems. Thus the performance of Fourier transform lens is directly related to the results of optical information processing.This thesis introduced the basic theory of Fourier optics, and then as a basis for research on the nature of Fourier transform lens, combined with optical design principles and aberration theory, discussed the design method of the Fourier transform lens. According to the actual needs of the lens design development, use of automatic optical design software ZEMAX, respectively, completed the distance double and single-group symmetry element type two Fourier transform lens design and image quality evaluation.
