In this paper, Baihe country, Xunyang country and Hanbin district passing along the border of Hubei and Shaanxi to Ankang highway are for the study areas. By the means of RS/GIS technology, by researching the landscape types to the centerline of the scope of 500m on both sides of the border of Hubei and Shaanxi to Ankang highway, using the principle of landscape ecology to establish ecological risk index Based on landscape pattern and process, Enlisting the landscape ecological risk index of the study areas. From the perspective of Landscape Architecture, Conducting a qualitative and quantitative analysis on the ecological risk which posed by Highway construction to Reveal the relationship between the types of landscape, landscape fragmentation, regional road density and the landscape ecology risk index. Through research and analysis, the main conclusions drawn are as follows:1.The use of advanced RS / GIS technology can extract the data on the landscape research fast and accurately, this is favorable for the study of the landscape ecology.2.Landscape ecological risk index is related to landscape fragmentation, landscape isolation, landscape dominance and landscape vulnerability, Landscape fragmentation in which is the greatest impact.3.In accordance with the landscape classification of the extent of the impact of ecological risk division, grassland, beach and scrub which are at the initial stage of the process of natural succession impact ecological risk larger. woodland, dry land and paddy field impact smaller.4.Ecological risk index cases a significant linear correlation with the road density, it is in direct proportion with the road density.5.In the three study areas, the ecological risk index for the size of the order: ERXunyang> ERBaihe>ERHanbin, that is, the construction of this road along the regional landscape effects of the strength of the extent of the ecological environment followed by Xunyang country, Baihe country and Hanbin district.
