The Hardware Research And Realization Of Traffic Video Detection Car Base On Network

Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) has become one of the frontier research topics of transportation field. As an important part of ITS, the traffic detecting technique base on video analyzing has better performance than any other detecting techniques.In the paper, the traffic detecting technique base on video analyzing at home and abroad is analyzed in detail. And an embedded network traffic video detection system with a high-speed image processing DSP chip as the core is designed, which overcomes the shortcomings of existing video detection system such as large size, slow processing speed, low reliability, high cost, inconvenience of expansion and maintenance. The system consists of video detector, switch and server. Each detector can be installed up to 16 detection cards, which can deal with a standard real-time video signal independently. The card has functions of video decoding, video compression, image processing, traffic incident detection, traffic parameter statistics and sending results to the server. Switch services for the high-speed Ethernet communication between detector and server. Server is responsible for storing the detection data, such as traffic incident information, traffic measurement parameters, events video clips and so on. At the same time the server is also responsible for storing the initial background, lane information, threshold of processing algorithm and initial parameters of cameras, and providing a communication interface for the client to access historical data.The work accomplished in this paper include: system requirements an??is, system demonstration, video detection card hardware circuit design, theoretical analysis and research of system power integrity(PI), signal integrity(SI) and electromagnetic compatibility(EMC), high-speed PCB design, as well as System debugging and testing.The raffic video detector Base on Network designed in this paper has been applied successfully in a number of projects, and the result shows that it works stably and reliably and provides a good solution for the traffic video detection field.
