Spatial Structure And Evolved Mechanism Of Hubaoe Urban Agglomeration

The beginning of the 21st century is the period of China's accelerated urbanization ,the national conditions that china has many people but little land, and the urbanized stage which taking gathers as the mainstream tendency have decided forming the urban agglomerations which have different sizes and different scale. And the tendency is inevitable in the evolvement of the spatial structure in the Chinese urbanization advancement. In the process of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region urbanization rapidly expand ,the development speed of the urban agglomeration constructed by Huhhot, Baotou, Erdos in middle Inner Mongolia is very astonishing, and Baotou, Erdos, Huhhot enter the national 88 city multi-billion-dollar GDP list of the Chinese city's newest economic potentiality ranking, and rank first in the western region. Therefore, the analysis of spatial structure and evolution of mechanisms of Hubaoe urban agglomeration for improving the overall competitiveness of the region is necessary.With the aid of the Arcgis spatial analysis function, the article extracts the package of hubaoe urban agglomeration in 1995~2006 year's city spatial information, and analyzes space and time characteristic of its spatial structure evolution by using Nighttime Lights Data. Furthermore , the article constructs the light index, and carries on the correlation analysis with the urbanized index which is computerd by statistical data ,then analyses the urbanized process of Hubaoe urban agglomeration, additionally, the article analyses the fractal characteristic of Hubaoe urban agglomeration through the computation fractal dimension, and finally it discusses the driving mechanism of spatial structure evolution which is based on the contenes above , and select suitable development approach which fit the spatial structure evolution of Hubaoe urban agglomeration to provide the theory basis for Hubaoe area urban planning and region coordinated development. The concrete findings are as follows:(1)Between 1995 and 2006, the total development trend of Hubaoe urban agglomeration is that the cities in the core areas where the high-grade road network is crowded developed by the axis development pattern primarily, and the cities which are far away from the town center primarily disperse the punctual proliferation development. The speed of the three urban center city land extensive expansion is quicker as a whole, but filled expansion is primarily. In the extensive expansion, the expansion speed of 2002~2006 year is quicker than 1995~2002 year, and is in accelerated status. Inquire into the three central city separately, Baotou bases on filled expansion, and the extensive expansion bases on 2006 primarily. Huhhot's two kind of expansions account for the quite proportion, and extensive expansion in 2006 extended to the main trend and it was accelerated. Erdos get the extensive expansion bases on 2006 primarily, and the acceleration tendency is larger than Huhhot and Baotou .(2)Three central cities spread from the center: filled→2002 year expansion→2006 year expansion. The two period's expansions of Huhhot mainly concentrate on the eastern ,south and northeast part, especially expands to the south obviously. The increase newly urban land in Baotou mainly distribute in the southeast of Qingkun area and northeast of Dong River area. Between 1995~2002, the expanded city land of Erdos was few, but it expanded widely between 2002~2006, especially expanded a large part to the south place which is far away from the central urban district. The average light intensity in extensive expansion is obviously lower than the filled of three central cities in each period, and it shows that the new developed urban land is also at the low density development condition basically. In the filled expansion type, the average light intensity in 1995 of Erdos is quite low, and average light intensities of Huhhot and Baotou are quite high in the three periods, moreover the average intensities rised year by year. Huhhot and Baotou's light intensities have respectively achieved 62.5 and 60.9 in 2006, and this type mainly distributes in the urban center, and the room for further development is not great.(3)From the light index, we can conclude that the urbanized level of diffenent counties basically presented upward trend between 1995 and 2006, and the speed of majority urbanization development in 2002~2006 is higher than the one in 1995~2002 obviously, especially Huhhot, the Dongsheng area and the Tumtzuoqi, which have the fastest growing in 2002~2006 period. The urbanization level of development is imbalanced and it presents different characteristics layer obviously, and the area in the middle of Hubaoe, particularly 210, 109, 110 federal highways encircle the inner loop (including Baotou, Huhhot, the Dongsheng area and neighbor Tumtyou banner, the Tumtzuo Country,the Tuoketuo county,Helin county,Yijinhuoluo Country, Dalate Country,Zhungeer Country), have quite high urbanization level, but the addendum circle ( including Guyang County, Darhanmaominganlianhe Country, Wuchuan County, Qingshuihe County, hangjin Country, the Etuoke Country, the Etuokeqian Country, Wushen Country) have low urbanized level, resulting in Huhhot, Baotou urban district as the center, from inside to outside gradually reduces pattern. Especially Huhhot, Baotou urbanization level is higher than other areas obviously.(4)We may know Hubaoe urban agglomeration spatial distribution is fractal by the fractal dimension. Take Huhhot and Baotou as measure center, the accumulation dimension respectively is 1.093 and 1.199, which indicates that urban system of Inner Mongolia has self-organization character of density attenuation around Hu-Bao city. And capacity dimension (D0=0.985) and information dimension(D1=1.086)also indicate that urban system of Inner Mongolia has the character of"two cores"center city. Cow-crow dimension is 1.024 close to 1, which indicates that traffic network of eighteen cities in Inner Mongolia develop, and the cities centralize on jingbao—baolan railway ,huzhun highway and baoe highway.(5)In the spatial structure successional variation process of Hubaoe urban agglomeration, driving mechanisms such as natural environment, national policy, urban planning, social economy culture and capital factor is not a single mechanism to play a role , but together undertakes this duty.
