A Study On The Internalization Of The External Economic Effect Of Urban Green Space

In the process of urbanization, the governmental investment in urban green space increases steadily, therefore the acreage of urban green space grows larger. Fund-raising appears as the core issue of the construction of the urban green space. This thesis aims at exploring a new practical way to raise funds, by analyzing the economic attributes of the urban public green space as public property and the beneficiary of its outside economical effect, so that a preliminary quantized computational model can be set up.Through the analysis of both theory and practice, the main problems which can be revealed in the construction and management of urban green space and green space project are summarized in this thesis. It is pointed out that the traditional mode of fund-raising for green space construction can not satisfy the need of the development of current urban green space. Thus the problem of fund-raising appears obviously. By studying the theory of"public property"and"externality", it is proved that as a typical would-be public property, urban green space has the distinct effects of external economy. And the shortage of funding which appears in the construction and management of urban green space can be tackled through the internalization of the external economical effects. The estimation theory and vibration are chosen correspondently according to the attribute of urban green space. By setting up the mode of estimation, sample collection and final experiment, the vague external economical effects can be quantified so that the theory evidence is provided for the correspondent ways of internalization. In the case of green space in Taipingqiao, based on the fundamental analysis, the external economical effects of urban green space is approved and quantified by inspecting and verifying with the estimation mode mentioned in previous. Through the research, a quantified technical way is provided for fund-raising for the construction of urban green space project and even of some similar project of urban fundamental equipment.
