The DC/DC power board functional testing system is designed and researched, which is based on the PXI bus technology in the environment of industrial automatic production.First of all, the constitution and the related parameters are analyzed. In accordance with the actual demand of existing power testing, the present advanced technique in the field of measurement and controlling are analyzed and researched. Consider the cost-effective and the actual demand, the PXI bus technology and virtual instrument technology are uesd to set up the testing system. The system hardware mainly includes PXI system and the test fixture.The separated test fixture is designed in the testing system hardware. The test fixture motherboard includes the electronic simulation of the load circuit, the switching frequency detection circuit and the communication interface module, etc. After finishing all the processing of data acquisition, the signals shall be transferred from each testing point on the DC/DC power board to the data acquisition card of PXI system, and then the data is processed and analyzed by the PXI system.In the design of the software for the testing system, the software of United States NI Corporation's LabVIEW platform is used to develop testing system. The each testing project of the DC/DC power board is separately tested. The method of modularity design is used to develop and design the software system. The modularity controlling, data collection, data acquisition, generating report, etc are realized.At last, the LabSQL and Microsoft Access are used to establish corresponding data base of testing data. Based on the design of LabVIEW's Statistics and data analysis, the probability theory, and the mathematic statistics, the historical testing data is analyzed and suggested the results of the analysis to be in the form of figures and statements as the data base of the process analyze and the process improvement. It is effective on that the quality control and the improvement of the DC/DC power board.The actual DC/DC power board is tested by the testing system. The test result shows that the DC/DC power board functional testing system meets the need of actual test, and its hardware is set up properly, the cost-effective is high, the hardware has good man-machine interface ,and it is in the habit of the actual operate. Compared with the traditional test, it not only greatly improves the production efficiency, but also saves a lot of time and money. Besides, it has a good applicational prospect.
