Research On The Virtual Instrument Technology Based Motor Testing System

Virtual instrument is a special equipment with visual interfaces based on computer related hardware and software. It completes instrument control, data analysis and display, and other functions on the designed virtual instrument panel with the help of a software developed platform. It has changed the manner in which traditional instruments operated. Since the advent of LabVIEW advocated by NI Company, virtual instrument technology has been widely applied into many areas.An testing system for motor is developed based on virtual instrument technology and LabVIEW integration developing platform in this thesis. It implements motor testing, such as type testing and predelivery testing, and some relating functions, such as data acquisition, sting controlling, real time display, data storage and analysis. The testing precision and efficiency are greatly increased.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First of all, the analysis of the use of virtual instruments to achieve the electrical testing needs and the main points from the motor type, the collection of physical experiments, such as various types of electrical point of view of the pilot project were sorting and classification system to determine the virtual instrument software design and LabVIEW software described in detail the characteristics of virtual instruments and data acquisition system.Second, conventional analysis of the test project to explore the data collection, data preservation technology to achieve the key and difficult problems; the use of targeted test data processing and other software to provide data interface for secondary development of a combination of data processing Methods to achieve a data-processing convenience and flexibility.Finally, for conventional electric motor test carried out experimental tests, the tests are given examples of data; and all of a sudden three-phase short-circuit test voltage and harmonic analysis of the two typical example of the pilot project to introduce a number of complex electrical design of the pilot project and to achieve.
