Meteorological satellite is the key product of spaceflight, the structure of which is complicated and works in severe environment. The function failure of satellite caused by rotary and moving components is urgent to be solved. Since satellite has small sample and is costly, it is rather difficult to evaluate the reliability of the component structure system. Hence, to study the effective method and use it to inspect the meteorological satellite and evaluate its reliability is significant theoretically and practically for eliminating the incipient fault when it is emitted and runs in orbit. Combined with the practical project"Technology of health inspection and reliability evaluation of moving components of Meteorological satellite"of Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology, the main works of this research are as follows:1. Based on the malfunction and movement characteristics of moving components, both second-order moment and Monte Carlo method are employed to assess the reliability of key components such as principal axis, screw that influence the performance of meteorological satellite with considering the randomicity of structure parameters.2. The ground simulation experiments for the malfunction of Meteorological satellite rotation and moving parts are carried out. Six parameters are adopted and symbolized based on the analysis of malfunctions. Through large amounts of simulation experiments of malfunction, symbolized parameters database is set up and its statistic character is analyzed. Finally, the fault probability of rotary and moving components of Meteorological satellite is calculated.3. The"small sample"reliability analysis model for Meteorological series satellite is constituted. The malfunction, structure reliability as well as transcendental information are calculated and synthesized. The reliability of Meteorological series satellite system is then analyzed.4. By using software such as MATLAB, Microsoft SQL, the health inspection and reliability evaluation system module of Meteorological series satellite is set up to realize the structure and system reliability analysis of the key rotary components such as principal axis and screw.
