Has been careful guidance and greatly support by professor Guo Yong,Dr Gao Song and Senior Engineer Chen weifeng,associate research fellow Peng jinchuan form The disaster mitigation institute of Seismological Bureau of Sichuan province.China is one of the most active earthquake and disaster High-incidence area in the world, with urbanization the potential dangers by earthquake increased, in the event of destructive earthquake, the people will cause a great loss to lives and property. How to minimize the losses caused by earthquake, are an important mission to earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in China, Rescue the buried personnel,reduce casualties effectively at the same time protect the safety of rescue personnel are the primary mission to reduce the disaster losses. Also is the best reflected to the effectiveness of disaster reduction. So, the use of advanced rescue equipment,search the survivors rapidly,emergency rescue capabilities,improve the disaster reduction is an important measure for emergency response capacity, In order to protecting the people's lives,building a harmonious society,safeguarding the social stability has great significance.Electromagnetic wave detector is mainly based on the life pr??ple of Doppler. When Electromagnetic penetrated some obstacles and encountered the body, signal was modulated by human life activities (such as breathing, heartbeat, etc.), some parameters (such as frequency, phase) of the signal changed. We can extract life relevant characteristics information from the echo signal after properly dispose. Thus, we know whether life is existence under ruins, rubble, buildings without touch the body. This approach overcome shortcoming of the traditional life detection equipments which is vulnerable to outside interference. It can be Apple to rescue injured person timely after collapse, avalanche, earthquakes and other disasters, as well as psychological evaluation and anti-terrorism areas and so on【9】. The electromagnetic wave detector contains three parts, which is antenna, on-site detection device and remote monitor and control PDA. The on-site detection devices contains transceiver module and DSP-based pretreatment system, TMS320C5509A is the core of pretreatment system, it take charge of real-time signal sample and processing after demodulation. Remote monitor and control PDA is the handset for the rescue staff. PDA can access data from the on-site detection device through the RS232 interface, and also can control the on-site detection device.The integrated transceiver modules of Electromagnetic wave detector can transmit and receive L-band electromagnetic waves is the components which determine the performance of electromagnetic wave detector. This part designed for the integrat transceiver module structure. Through the antenna the launch ciruit send the 1.728GHZ electromagnetic wave to the free space, at the same time receive the echo signal. Analysised the echo signal of strong clutter signal from the receiver and design the circuit.the C8051F021 single chip control circuit cancel the strong clutter signal.and extract the Doppler shift frequence signal in the optimal point of cancellation.eventually extract the characteristics of human life information. To achieve the life information acquisition and processing hardware and software design, to achieve the expected target and requirements. At the same time explain the back-end modules of this electromagnetic wave detector system: signal processing module,PDA display and the control modules,power module and??on.The system which has the merit of high integration, small volume, light weight and easy to carry, has a good prospect and practical value.
