Guest train is one of the important means of transportation used for traveling. With the development of the national economy and the advent of information era, whether vehicle can run securelyly already becomes the focal point of people's attention. Whether the vehicle can stop safely under high-speed circumstances is the key of run securelyly, the key is to resolve the problem of braking in the field of vehicle. Under such a premise, to research vehicle braking system appears inevitable and important right away.The assignment of the design is to real-time monitor the vehicle operation speed and autocontrol vehicle braking system according to vehicle braking state, realization vehicle braking's safety protects. Therefore the thesis designs a vehicle braking automatic monitoring system based on high-performance embeddedmicroprocessor——ARM,new model high-performance programmable logicdevice——CPLD,Serial communication of sustaining distributing/real-timecontrol effectively——CAN-BUS andμC/OS-Ⅱoperation system. It hasintroduced the vehicle braking controls principle,embedded system principle and design methods. It emphasizes the plan of software and hardware design, which is based on the 32-bit embedded microprocessor S3C44B0X of Samsung. It also has empoldered application based onμC/OS-Ⅱ.The application modules include the long-range communication module, the data collection module, the data processing and transmission module, the components life-span recording module, the malfunction parameter surveillance and alarm module. The long-range communication module uploads various braking state to computer system by CAN bus. The data collection module is achieved by CPLD which owns high speed logic processing ability. ARM just controls the start of data collection,manages and transmits data. Accordingly it achieves high speed data collection. In the components life-span recording module, the electromagnetism-valve's action time,electrify-used hour and total hour, each sensor's electrify-used hour and total hour are recorded every other period of time. The record couldn't be losed after losing electricity, it can become data gists of malfunction's occuring,diagnose,excluding and maintenance. By simulated debugging and the scene experiment, the functions of vehicle braking automatic monitoring system have been realized mainly. The system can real-time control the train vehicle's brake state, check the vehicle's run speed, prevent the vehicle from sliping, check and alarm troubles. It verifies that the design is feasibility and rationality. It has reached expected design effect.
