With people’s daily life becoming more and more intelligent,there is not only mobile connected smart home,but also intelligent traffic mode-intelligent driving car.Automatic steering and braking are the key technologies to realize intelligent driving.Therefore,based on the electric sightseeing bus purchased by school and enterprise,the automatic steering and automatic braking system of tourist vehicle is developed and studied in this paper.First of all,this paper determines the general scheme of the automatic steering and automatic braking system.In the steering and braking actuator,the steering rotating platform is used to realize the automatic control of the steering system,and the push rod motor is used to control the brake pedal.The automatic steering and automatic braking control of the vehicle are realized.In order to save the development time,first of all,the relative positions of the assembly components of the steering and braking system are measured,and the assembly components are mapped,and the three-dimensional models of the steering system and braking system are established.The auxiliary mechanical design of automatic function is carried out,and then the assembly components of steering system and braking system are assembled according to the relative position parameters,and the functional test bench of steering and braking system in accordance with the position relationship of the original vehicle is established.And the physical assembly of the bench model is carried out;furthermore,the motor control algorithm of the automatic steering and automatic braking system is analyzed,and the control strategy which can realize the automatic function is established;then the control system of the automatic driving vehicle is introduced.The methods of realizing the automation function of throttle,shift,lighting,steering and braking are studied and analyzed,and the automatic steering and automatic braking speed response test and position tracking test are carried out on the bench.Finally,the final assembly and electrical transformation of the automatic steering and automatic braking system are carried out,the VBOX vehicle test performance test system is passed,and the road test tests of the minimum turning radius and serpentine test of automatic steering are carried out.The rapid braking road test of the automatic braking system is carried out,and the test results are compared with the original vehicle working conditions,which shows that the autopilot transformation can respond smoothly,accurately and quickly,and can meet the requirements of steering and braking of autopilot vehicles.
