High-speed railway construction, as well as high-speed passenger rail is not just an important indicator of one country's technological development level , is also common in today's world development trend of railway. With the cause of China's railway transportation development and continually increasing demands of the use of EMU, the recent maintenance system have already couldn't meet the needs of development of rail transport in China. So, reform must be put in practice. We must strengthen the research of maintenance theory in the reform process and establish EMU maintenance theory suited to China, so as to guide maintenance.This article studied on the reliability maintenance and maintenance optimization of EMU and developed EMU Multi-components Maintenance Decision Support System which can manage the original failure data of the EMU and get optimization program from analysing of the data.The article based on the reliability engneering, bring forward the method that how to get the reliability distributing model from the original failure data of the EMU, and then established the single component determine maintenance cycle model and multi-component preventive maintenance optimization model.Based on the above optimization method, the article used Access LabVIEW Excel and Matlab Mixed programming to develop EMU Multi-components Maintenance System to realize the optimization method.
