At-grade intersections were the capacity bottlenecks of road, and traffic congestion problems becomed to a very severe level. Traffic congestion has been a point to a line, from local to large-scale spread. Urban traffic problems not only affected the city's efficiency and quality of life and brought a series of social problems such as environmental problems, which has become one of the important factors for the city's economic development constraints. Therefore, in solving the urban traffic congestion and improving the overall network capacity under the premise of how to improve the intersection capacity and operating efficiency will be extremely important. To address the widespread problem of traffic jams, this article make use of the intersection region to organize free transport, the use of low-cost, the efficiency of traffic organization and traffic control methods to solve the problem of traffic congestion, improve the operation of road vehicles.In this paper, it discussed the grade-intersection which was setting waiting-area for through vehicles of the channelization design, organization and capacity. Paper introduced the research background, research and study at home and abroad and the technology methods. And it introduced the channelization of the definition of traffic and channelization design some method of signal cross-plane T-junction and intersection signal design method of channelization, in the conventional design method of lines to be made by the first stop line post-design method.
