The Regional Research On Tourist Hotel Design

The paper is from the point of regional design to research modern tourist hotel design. The regional of tourist hotel design means that tourist hotel design should be rooted in local culture and excavates the essence of local culture, it should make local culture combine with modern diverse culture and make them inclusive. The design should make tourist hotel is coordinated with local natural and human environment, it should fully displays the characteristics of local culture.The paper analyzes the regional of tourist hotel design under international background. It discusses the relation of regionalism and tourist hotel design. Tourist hotels design should absorb the essence of geographical features, it should combined with modern scientific technologies, and it should be considered seriously and used by contemporary tourist hotels design. Only considering the inherent association between modern tourist hotel buildings and geographical traditional culture, we can grasp and innovate the tradition at higher level, so tourist hotel design can development better. First, beginning from the study of theory which related to regionalism, the paper analyzes the regionalism of domestic and foreign famous architects′practice, learns from previous research ideas and design methods. Second, the paper analyzes the works of tourist hotel design which is designed with a tendency to regionalism, and the paper summarizes three main factors which impacts the regional of tourist hotel design, the three factors are the natural factor﹑cultural factor and technical factor, the paper points out that tourist hotel design should consider the three factors comprehensively. The paper further explores the ways of regional creation in tourist hotel design from three aspects: form﹑material and color. Last, the paper use KAIFENG as study example, and bases on the experience the paper can provides reference to the same type of tourist hotel design.
