It has become one of the pillar industries in China’s development, as a major supporting facilities, resort hotel acting an important role. Resort hotel is not only an important source of tourism, but also a great part of the construction, will directly affect the level of its construction and operation to the sound development of the tourism industry. Thus the importance of resort hotel building for development of tourism and promote regional culture has been an important practical significance.Nowadays, Economic and cultural globalization have been an important part, cultural gaps are blurring between the hotel building, there is no cultural characteristics of a large number of hotels. However, people in the pursuit of the material needs of the hotel, while also increasing the demand for spiritual and regional characteristics, so resort hotel space is important to meet the spiritual needs of visitors side, the study "Regional Culture" is an open type concept which includes geographical, regional, and terrain conditions, and also including history, traditions and culture issues. And among architecture and nature, those issues are all important factors. Technical conditions adapted to regional and other means. In simple terms, the natural, cultural and adaptability are collectively referred to as regional. My resort project in Xishuangbanna and Qingtao are all tried to express the region and ecological factor in design.From the current situation of tourism hotel development, combining cultural and ecological building theory and design principles buildings analyzed examples of successful domestic and international hotel, explore the local culture and ecological strategy based on resort hotel space.
