Research On The Planning Of The University Campus Environment In The New Time

In the end of the 20th century, China's higher education conducted a series ofreforms in order to adapt to the changing market economy and develop high-qualitytalents. Particularly the implementation of higher education enrollment expansionpolicy brought college opportunities for many students. Some universities in order toadapt to the new policy embarked on the extension, newly built, combination. Duringthis period,the number of China's colleges and universities, the number of collegesand universities students and the enrollment size in China are growing rapidly. Manyfactors including the hasty planning and design, heavy tasks, short cycle and the lackof a correct theoretical guidance of the University campus construction project layhidden dangers for the completed campus environmental quality. University campusis the cradle of talent. A quiet, harmonious university campus environment is essentialfor personnel training. University campus environment is an organic whole, thevarious components closed together. In the past, the study about the universitycampus environment did not take the university campus as a whole to study theuniversity campus environment, but focused on the components. This article takes theuniversity campus environment as a whole. Through the survey, the author analyzedthe grim situation which China's university campus environment is facing and pointedout the problems of campus space environment caused by the extension, newly built,combination of the new campus. Based on the analysis of the space environment ofthe university campus environment, using the modern urban planning theory (ecology,adaptability, systems integration, community) as a guide and combined with thedesigning practices such as modern architecture and landscape, the architecturalenvironment, greening environment, cultural environment and communityenvironment of the university campus environment were integrated and designed.Finally, using the South China University as an example, the authors have set up acomplete comprehensive fuzzy evaluation about university campus environmental quality. The result was effective and objective and useful for the reform anddevelopment of the second phase of the South China University. This study aboutuniversity system of environmental planning is only a beginning in the hope ofstimulating more scholars to study and pay attention to the university campusenvironment, providing theoretical basis and practical guidance for the contribution ofa modern university campus which is more beautiful, more harmonious and moresuitable for the needs of teachers and students.
