With the launching of a second national-wide revision of land use planning, environmental impact assessment of the revised scheme of the land use plan is of great significance in coordinating social, economical and ecological development, preventing a series of environmental problems caused by the implementation of the land use plan. Based on the research of common theories and methods applied in environmental impact assessment of land use planning, environmental status and the environmental impact of land use scheme are evaluated with model of coordination degree and comprehensive assessment method according to the specific circumstances in Lao Hekou County, and comprehensive analyses are given to part of the assessed results; Environmental impacts rendered by the implementation of recommended land use plan are predicted, and corresponding environmental countermeasures are put forward then; The results indicate that the compound environment of Lao Hekou presents an upward trend; the moderate scheme of land use plan is the most favorable to the development of coordinated environment;The main content of this thesis covers the following chapters: in chapter one, the background and the significance of the topic selection are introduced; in chapter two, fundamental theories and methods of the environmental impact assessment for land use plan are explored; in chapter three, technical makeup of EIA for the revised land use planning is discussed in detail, and model of coordination degree assessment that is established for this study. In chapter four, a case study of Lao Hekou is carried on to evaluate the revised land use schemes, in which concrete application process of those theories and models established in prior chapter are displayed; in chapter five, the main findings of this research are concluded; problems that call for our further endeavor in related research are pointed out.
