In recent years, the attention paid to automotive handling comfort has become very prevalent. Pedal is one of the devices that are handled most frequently in the automotive inner. Correlative research on the pedal handling comfort is an important stage to improve the qualities of automotive products and optimize the designs of automotive structures. At present, however, most researches on automotive pedal handling comfort are conducted with the methods in which the static data are combined with the experiential estimations. In the research process of these methods, data acquirement is divorced from estimation analysis. This goes against the dynamics of the automotive pedal handling process and obviously can't satisfy the objectivity and veracity of the estimation analysis.Aiming at this actuality, firstly, the conception of handling comfort was presented and the information demand of the system for the automotive pedal handling comfort evaluation was analyzed. Comprehensive Fuzzy Judgement and the technique of data acquirement were used to establish the goal curve of pedal handling comfort. The method of handling comfort evaluation based on correlation analysis was founded. In order to implement the dynamic data acquirement and storage in the process of automotive pedal handling, a hardware platform for embedded data acquirement analysis based on ARM was established, with the very advantages of ARM and embedded operating system, like small volume, powerful function and easy to expend. At the same time, taking the above evaluation method as a frame, a soft system for automotive pedal handling comfort evaluation was established to realize the data acquirement and evaluation analysis in synchronism and ensure the dynamic characteristics required in the research on the pedal device comfort and the objective veracity of the evaluation analysis. Finally, the feasibility and rationality of the system for the automotive handling comfort analysis was validated by experiment.
