In present years, the CPU of most microprocessor-based protection device is 16 bit, because of their slow speed, it is hard to realize the more complex protection function. In addition, the software design is based on assembly language and traditional linearity program flow chart, which makes software maintenance and upgrade more difficult. After analyzing and absorbing the advanced experience and technology of current microprocessor protection device, the paper bring forward a kind of protector controller about arc suppression and over voltage which is based on DSP and uC/OS-II.The main frame of hardware is consist of 32 bit DSP, which is the core of the protection device, made in TI company and CPLD made in ALTERA company. The module of analog signals collecting uses 16 bit AD7656 to achieve multichannel sampling simultaneity, what is more, it can improve the speed and veracity of sampling. As to communication, we choose RS-485 interface and MODBUS protocol. The technology of RS-485 is well-rounded, so we can take it easily. The module of man and machine interface includes LCD, LED and keyboard, these make the operation more concision.The software design is based on the embedded RTOS uC/OS-II. After introducing some basal concept of uC/OS-II, the paper emphasizes its naturalization to DSP2812. And then, the software part presents the protect configuration and arithmetic, moreover, it introduces the task partition and the design of the application in detail.
