For a long time, river plays a crucial role in the development of city in all countries and regions.Along with the rapid progress of urbanization, the degradation of river ecosystem and the decreasing quality of river landscape have become serious environmental issues. At present, the concept of near-naturalization has been applied to the over-developed urban river, where the main work is to restore. With the process of urbanization, there will be more and more natural rivers transformed to urban river.Although the traditional channeled river can achieve some effects in a short time such as flood control, water use.But in the long run,it does not comply with the laws of natural ecology. So it is advocated that we should follow the "near-naturalization" theory at the beginning of the design. It is conducive to protect the ecological system of river,on the basis of meeting urban functions. This dissertation is focused to analysis the common problems in the domestic and overseas, and referred to the relevant cases and technology research. From the standpoint of landscape architecture, combined with the east section of Dongjin river in Ningguo city of Anhui Province, adopted some near-natural strategies on river reconstruction and design such as the adjustment of river morphology, designing natural revetment, adopting near natural planting strategies.
