| The turbine-generator set is a complex integrated control system with nonlinear and strong coupling characteristic. The stability of hydro-electric generator set ensures electrical generation system to operate stably and provide high-quality electrical power. For nonlinear control systems, usually the Lyapunov's direct method is employed to analyze their stability property. For many nonlinear systems, unfortunately, the Lyapunov functions are very difficult to construct. Reference [1][2] proposed a new stability criterion based on system simulation, and solved this problem. The New Stability Criterion expanded the sufficient conditions of Lyapunov's direct method into necessary and sufficient conditions for local stability. It provided a standard and simple way to select the Lyapunov's function. This thesis take MATLAB/Simulink as the software platform for system stability research. Modeling, simulation and computation was carried out on hydraulic turbine, the generator and other parts. This thesis focus on the model of 6# hydroelectric generator set of Foziling Hydroelectric Power Station and the new criterion is employed to analyze the stability based on Simulink. |
