The Applied Research Of Green Design Based On Modular For Cabinets

During recent years, the problems of resources and environment are increasingly concerned around the world. With economic development, our demand for products are more diversified and personalized. In this conflict, to find a way of design that not only can satisfy our individual needs, but also can protect environment has become the hotspot nowadays. Based on Green Design and Modularization Method,the paper focus on furniture, in order to find the principle of furniture design, keep the personality of products and improve their green performance.Firstly, the paper introduces the theory of Modularization and Green Design and their application in furniture design, and then makes a detailed analysis of cabinets and set up a Green Modularized System. It reflects the green performance of furniture in the respects of detachability and green materials. Finally, it takes an example of TV ark, applies the paper's method, establishes the TV ark modules with preferred green performance and makes a simple evaluation.
