Study On Human Factors In Aviation Maintenance

Aviation maintenance is accompanied by the birth of the aircraft, and gets development by the progress of aviation industry. Aviation maintenance is the material basis for the aviation industry, and it determines the aircraft's safety and reliability. Human factors directly affect the quality of aviation maintenance, so we strengthen the human factors research in aviation maintenance; it has an important practical significance.In this paper, first the development of aviation maintenance is introduced; the strategy and ideas of aviation maintenance are analyzed and summarized. According to human error's nature and existing forms in aviation maintenance, we classify the human errors, and introduce the common models of the human factors. And then we give the general rules of human factors in the aviation maintenance, list the forms of the human errors in aviation maintenance, and analyze the causes of the human factors carefully. At the same time, the evaluation system which is using the human factors as the core is introduced. Accident examples which are caused by the human factors in aviation maintenance are adduced, and are analyzed by the reason model and analytical hierarchy process. Finally, in view of the characteristics of the human factors in aviation maintenance, we give recommendations to aviation security system, for improving the air transport safety.
