In City Public Environment Design Region Culture Applied Research

Since the last century, under the driving of the large scale population, the capital and the information flow, the global development model has arrived. The national boundary, the social system, the difference and the diversification of the traditional culture have been disintegrated by the globalization, as a kind of sole world civilization. The regional culture (local culture) is being destroyed. Similarly, the cultural crisis has brought intense shock to the city public environmental design. The patterning of the urban environmental art layout is promoted by the cultural convergence. The city has lost the original characteristic and charm because of the stereotyped urban space and the skin texture. Chinese cities are facing the regional culture crisis, as well. It's urgent that the worker of the environmental art design need to seek a suitable path for itself.The"Diversification"in the urban environment prettification movement, which overemphasizes the abundance and difference of the urban view, causes the real "different landscape" to be forgotten, which has become the accessory of the urban environmental design. The city and urban public environmental design have lost its characteristics and charm because of the contradiction of the design and the culture. In order to be coordinated the city public environmental art design each kind of contradiction which produces in the inheritance culture, to improve in the city public environmental art design the region culture flaw phenomenon, to promote the city public environmental art design and the region culture accord development. From the viewpoint of the Design Art, based on the understanding and exploration of the relationship of the urban public environmental design and regional culture. The aim is to discover and analyze the problems, and explore the idea to solve this problems by combining the Wanjiang copper culture application to research the basic principles and expressive form that the regional culture is used in the urban public environmental design.
