Prestressed structures are widely used in all engineering fields for its unique advantages.Prestressed structures have become one of the most promising modern structures.The center for cultural activities of the the fourth military medical university adopt prestressed structure,the main frame of which consists of 3 prestresseds beam and 5 frame beams.YKL-1 and YKL-2 intersect obliquely and 5 frame beams pass through YKL-2 in the south north direction.The circular secondary beam pass through frame beams in the east-west direction.These components compose the structure system.Prestressed concrete is the material that consists of high performance steel and concrete with high strength,less cost,light weight,large stiffness,better crack resistant property,durability and stability.prestressed concrete may enlarge the structural span effectively,which satisfy the need for large column grid,large space of buildings and expand the application fields of reinforced concrete.Prestressed concrete satisfies the need of modern building structures.Combined with application of prestressed concrete on the center for cultural activities of the the fourth military medical university,this paper introduces development situation,pros and cons,the prestress loss of prestressed structure, discussed key problems such as form work design,scaffold installation,connection of ordinary reinforcements,bellows installation,concrete cast and stretch of prestressed steel.The technical measures for special large span prestressed structure are summarized which can serve for reference of similar project construction.
