With the development of road transportation cause, the importance of transportation environment is deeply understanded. Driving safety is considered. At the same time, driving comfort is paid more and more attention to; also people have higher and higher demand of the service capacity of road environment. Road light environment, as a part of road transportation environment, has also a certain extent effect on driving comfort of drivers. The form of road greening especially for common highway greening affect the road light environment. Because the distance between street trees and carriageway is close, light will emerge glitter phenomenon on carriageway's area under sunlight condition. When driving in this light environment, drivers'eyes have to adapt to this change of glitter phenomenon. After a certain time it will affect the driving comfort, result in visual fatigue, and then will affect driving safety. Therefore, it is important to consider the effect of glitter phenomenon from the driver's physiological and psychological reaction in order to study driving comfort, reducing traffic accidents and improving road service performance.Taking glitter phenomenon of light environment of common highway greening as study object, aiming at glitter phenomenon which came from street trees in carriageway's areas at sunlight condition and selecting blinking frequency, growth rate of heart rate as research indicators, this paper studied the relation about visual comfort, blinking frequency and change of heart rate with their influencing factors. Through a combination of actual driving and indoor simulation experiments, the study verified that glitter phenomenon has effect on driver'visual comfort and psychological feelings indeed. By partial correlation analysis, the study showed that the main influencing factors of driver's visional comfort in different road light environment is light standard deviation and glitter frequency, By the cruve of blinking frequency, the peak of drivers'blinking frequency and the moment of the peak'appearing time were summed up. Based on light standard deviation and glitter frequency, multiple regression models about blinking frequency and appeared time of peak were setted up.The initial experiment showed that with the increase of light standard deviation, the felling of drivers'vision was more and more uncomfortable, and driver's visual fatigue was occurred easier and sooner. The psychological feeling was more and more obvious and the growth rate of driver's heart rate was greater. With the growth of glitter frequency, that is, the faster of sunlight changes, the feeling of drivers'vision was more and more uncomfortable, and driver's visual fatigue was occurred easier and sooner.It was found by partial correlation analysis that the felling of drivers'vision was affected by both sunlight standard deviation and glitter frequency. Sunlight standard deviation had more effect on vision comfort. Sunlight standard deviation had more obvious effect on the growth rate of driver's heart rate. With the increase of sunlight standard deviation, drivers'growth rate of heart rate got increase. The correlation between glitter frequency and heart rate was not obvious.
