Municipal Solid Waste Integrated Management System

Over the past 20 years,with the speeding up the process of urbanization,the development of economic and the improvement of consumption level,the weight of municipal solid waste had increased at about 9 percent annual growth rate.All along,China's treatment of municipal solid waste is at low level.The issue of municipal solid waste pollution control hasn't be solved well. Traditional waste management ideas and management models no longer meet the objective need of the current and future economic and social development.Thus,ascertaining the status of municipal solid waste management and existing problems,the establishment of a sustainable integrated municipal solid waste management system is imperative,for enhancing the country's municipal solid waste management.In this paper,municipal solid waste management system is taken for the study object.Firstly,the method of documents analysis is used to discuss and classify the conception and the study status on the municipal solid waste management.Based on the above-mentioned,a questionnaire survey is used to analyze the status of the solid Waste Management in Guangzhou city.Through theoretical and empirical analysis,the author find the following questions in the current municipal solid waste management:Firstly,laws and regulations are inadequate; Secondly administrative system is imperfect;Thirdly,the awareness of urban sanitation is inadequate;Fourly,the level of the reduction and the recycling of municipal solid waste is not high;Fifty,thedisposal technique of solid waste is lag behind.Based on these problems,From the perspective of public administration,using the knowledges and theories of the recycling economy,system management,public goods and other related,considering the whole process of waste management,the author design the integrated management system of municipal solid waste.And the author suggest that we should pay more attention to the reduction and the recycling of municipal solid waste,not just focus on the disposal of solid waste;we should take the barycenter of municipal solid waste management forward,so as to achieve the purpose of the recycling of municipal solid waste.In the end,the author hope that this study on the integrated management of municipal solid waste can provide a useful reference for the municipal solid waste management.
