Adhere to the spirit of scientific development, social harmony, comprehensive construction of the well-off society, our country has raised the emerging, the climax with vigorous economic liftoff and the communication of a big country. As the volume of the traffic everywhere in our country has increased sharply in recent years, freeway service level that build in early days can not match with the technical standard norm of the secondary. It has already demonstrated such problems as the insufficiency of the traffic capacity and the decline of the service quality, etc. For this reason, with carrying out the scientific development view of the traffic thoroughly, we need to study and implement the safe, unblocked, harmonious modernized traffic network urgently in order to help to achieve the harmonious and fast economic development.At present, there are many freeways implemented or being implemented with science to achieve maintenance or expansion at home.As the proposed expanded freeway often has a relatively heavy traffic, once the full implementation of the closed construction will be put into practical, it will bring the enormous traffic pressure to the province along the line, and may even lead to the traffic gridlock. In order to keep the traffic unblocked during the period of the expanded construction of the freeway, reduce the difficulty of construction, guarantee the project quality and time limit and reduce the impact of the project on rate of traffic flow at the same time, rational and scientific scheme of traffic organization must be made. This thesis tries to study the scheme of traffic organization and optimization of the freeway. based on the expansion project of Zhengzhou to Luohe section of National Highway G4.Firstly, this paper systematically expounds on the analysis method of the highway reconstruction project in the capacity and service level; it makes a survey and statistics on the basis of traffic volume, speed, traffic density, traffic and the composition of headway, and other parameters of the traffic analyzing the characteristics of basic state (the free travel, travel-following, lane-changing behavior, and so on) of the flow of traffic as well as the main factors of traffic.Secondly, according to the different construction characteristics of sub-projects of reconstruction Project of basic project namely the main line on the roadbed, bridges, sharing legislation, as well as the service area of the implementation plan to carry out the analysis, and based on this, this thesis draws up the traffic organization program of the reconstruction of National Highway G4 Zhengzhou to Luohe section during the construction.Finally, we use VISSIM traffic simulation software to simulate the project that has been put forward, and based on the dynamic simulation results, the technical indexes, we evaluate them according to the established evaluation index, and thus we can optimize the highway traffic organization proposal of modification and expansion, and determine the reasonable traffic organization evaluation index system.Through the research of this paper, we hope to offer beneficial reference for the relevant project, and provide a reference for guarantee the function of "rapid, safety, economy, comfortable" of the expanded freeway.
