The Design And Research On The Landscape Space Inside Dwelling Size In The Southern Multi-family Building

With the rapid economic development and urbanization process accelerated significantly, the development of multi-family building become the major means of solving the housing needs. As the altitude development of the multi-family building leads to hard to touch the ground and reduce opportunities for people to contact natural environment. Yearning for nature is the disposition of People. Under this background, the space which connects the house and conjoins the interior with the exterior can function as sight viewing, close to nature, plant cultivation, leisure and entertainment etc. inside dwelling size, we refer here as " landscape space".It esteems the harmonization between human being and nature, which is fully embodied on Chinese traditional architect forms and living methods. After discussion towards human life being in a highly harmony with nature, it reflects the realistic significance which designs the " landscape space" inside dwelling size from the culture——Creating more chance close to nature for residents.There are many architects explore that residence combines with landscape space in modern history. Although there is no integral theory from developing it, the spatial organization methods and structure which are from the exploration. It becomes the object which is borrowed ideas from contemporary the design on landscape space, and becomes the basis of practice which inspires assumption toward landscape space.There are many landscape space elements inside dwelling size of multi-family building, separate it into three types: one, courtyard space; two, balcony and terrace space category; tree, landscape door and window. Talking about and accounting for their plane form, spatial position and the relationship with other functions, scale, setting up planting cultivation and so on separately which are designed expression in many ways inside dwelling size. Providing some theoretical principles for designing and creating landscape space. Drawing a conclusion of the design principle and functions for landscape space inside dwelling size, and then drawing a conclusion of the design on the landscape space. Putting forward some assumptions, hoping for bringing some revelations for architects, to create a truly original approach for the landscape space.At last giving analyses and arguments through engineering project. One of the project is taken part in by myself during the school year which is named Changsha Yuehu Villa. And then putting forward a assumption toward a kind of house type mode. As it is in the stage of preliminary design, it will be confirmed its feasibility in practice. This paper exploits a new idea on design method, to make suggest for creation in future.Toward discussion of this paper, giving some reference to the real estate developers and designers, providing more theoretical support to housing industry in today's booming development period and giving more living inspiration to people to ultimately improve their living quality.
