In the light of contemporary society,modernization has peaked to an unprecedented prosperity.With the continuous acceleration of urban modernization,the "Besieged City" built by reinforced concrete has gradually alienated the relationship between man and nature.Under the heavy social pressure,people’s yearning and desire for returning to nature are aroused by the unresolved landscape interest in their hearts.They are eager to get the fun and release of returning to the landscape from the "urban mountain forest".However,in this utilitarian and complex society,due to the wanton invasion of western culture and the unrestricted application of scientific and technological means,the design gradually evolved into a process of scientific quantification,blindly pursuing the modernization of technology,and seriously lacking the thinking of cultural dimension,which led landscape designers to neglect the spiritual connotation of China’s excellent traditional culture and the thinking of human ontology,thus making people.Therefore,how to build a unique living environment with Chinese characteristics in modern cities has become the most important issue for landscape designers.Influenced by the ancient Chinese traditional view of nature,the living style of "poetic" has been a way of life that many literati have been exploring since ancient times,and the way to get along with "Inaction" of nature is worth our thinking and reference.Therefore,this paper first traces back to the origin,taking the traditional Chinese philosophy as the origin,explores the relationship between human and nature contained in it,and points out that the spiritual connotation of "poetic" is the high harmony between human and nature,taking this as the theoretical basis,according to the research logic of "Poetry into painting" and "painting into garden",it studies ancient literati and Mohist,such as He made an in-depth study on the spiritual connotation and construction techniques of his poetic dwelling ideal by virtue of the translation of "natural landscape","ink landscape" and "landscape in the garden".Combined with the specific cases of his modern interpretation,he summarized the spiritual value and method concept of "poetic dwelling" given to modern landscape design,so as to develop and form a unique Chinese culture The concept of human settlements and design is of great significance.
