The most extensive physical parameter monitored is temperature in the field of industry.With the development at full speed of electronic technology and computer technology,the measuring of spot temperature tends to use intelligent thermometer of the digital display instead of the Past scale thermometer and indicator thermometer,and the requirement to the precision of measurement is higher and higher.At Present,although there are high-precision temperature measuring apparatus on the market,however the price is generally high.With the information technology being more and more popular in the society,the traditional 8-bit MCU can't content the request of the application that is becoming more and more complex.The friendly interactive interface,the function of network mutual connections,intelligent software and high efficient data Processing nearly has become the common demand for the intelligent system. With the rapid development of the embedded system,this system has replaced the traditional PC-centered one step by step,and it will be the main force in the future intelligent meters.In this paper,the main content is the develop process of the embedded temperature monitoring instrument based on the 32-bit ARM microproeessor-S3C2410 and embedded real-time operation system RT-Linux.We also expatiate material technology of this system and corresponding realization methods of the technology.This system based on the develop board of Yangchu2410,and developped the signal gathering and conditioning circuit to build uP the hardware plate which consist of microproeessor S3C2410,flash,SARM,A/D,keyboard, and displayEmbed real-time operation system RT-Linux to this hardware plate,so as to finish the design and the development of the embedded temperature monitoring instrument.
