Morphology Analysis Of The Ancient Residential Architecture In Huizhou

In this thesis thematically the form of Ancient Residential Architecture in Huizhou is analyzed and discussed. Based on plenty of residential mapping information and field research, example surveying and statistical analysis of data, the author analyzed the features of Huizhou Residential Architectural Morphology from the viewpoints of structuralism, morphology and typology, revealed the composition of the internal law and organization rules. In This thesis the author also resolved the aesthetics and causes of ancient residential architectural Morphology in Huizhou by the basic principles of sociology, psychology, and aesthetics etc. This thesis revealed the relationship and interaction between building form and the character of people, physical environment, social and cultural environment. As a result, the analysis of the morphology of the Ancient Residential Architecture in Huizhou is completed in multi-level.
