Study On Context Continuation Of The Urban Public Spaces In Three Gorges Area

It is paid significantly closed attention in domestic that urban context and characteristics are keeping on partly and losly in the immigrating and building at the Three Gorges reservoir. Pro.Wuliangyong said: Three Gorges reservoir area is not only a hydro-project, a social project of drawled worldwide attention and a cultured engineering, but a special situation of urbanization from immigration to building human settlements. Under such background, urban public space at the Three Gorges reservoir area is studied from the perspective of urban context constitutions. In this essay, the concept of urban public space and urban context constitutions are expounded for purpose of erecting the link of the two ones, analyzing constituent elements,impact factor,sports track and manifestations of Three Gorges reservoir area urban context, proposing development strategy with the examples of argumentation.The contents of the essay are divided into four parts altogether:The fist part is chapter one. It expounds the aim and significance of this research, the researching ideas and approach, the researching framework as well as defines the scope of the study and concepts.The second part is chapter two and chapter three. It summarizes basic theory of urban public space and urban context, and also discusses the core idea of context. By erecting the link of urban public space and urban context, it analyzes the constituent elements,impact factor,form of expression and movement.The third part is chapter four and chapter five. Based on the in-depth investigation, it studies the constituent elements,impact factor,development and evolution,form of expression of Three Gorges reservoir area urban context, which analyzes the current context fragmented problems and comb out characteristic performance of public space. On these studies, it proposes extension of the urban context of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area of public space construction strategy and explores the extension of the design context.The fourth part is chapter six. At the basis of some analysis based on previous, it takes the Yunyang County as an example to describe how to create public space in context in the actual project. At the end, by summarizing on paper, it proposes the ideal model of urban public space in Three Gorges reservoir area.
