Studies On The Exterior Space Design Of Municipal Administration Building

Rapid urbanization in the People's Republic of China(PRC)(China,for short) has led to a peak season of its urban construction when government images become more and more significant,along with the reform of Chinese administrative system.Against such a background,China has seen an upsurge of administration building and municipal plaza construction.The position of administration building and municipal plaza is improving steadily,especially for municipal plaza,as one of important components of urban public space,it's related to the formation of city character directly.This research started with a retrospection of municipal plaza's history,raised the question in this way;then elaborated the new requirement of "space experience" in municipal plaza,and then expounded the concept of "space plot" at the basis of "space experience",and then analysed its constituent elements,then we applied those constituent elements to the study on design of municipal plaza,found creating principles of "space plot",so that,we could get further discussion on creating technique of "space plot" in the municipal plaza in detail.This research defined the concept of "space plot",and took this concept as a basis, the research tried to establish the sense of place in municipal plaza,and then developed new ideas to design municipal plaza in the background of "heart time",so that,we could design and construct such municipal plaza:full of human kindness and loved by citizens,that is our final target.
