There are some special properties of the reticulated shell structures,such as admissibility of reasonable,handsome in appearance and constructed facilitate,so they are more and more widely used in sports centers,exhibitions hall space and other large civil and industrial construction.The single-layer reticulated shell combined with the double-layer reticulated shell to form the partial double-layer reticulated shells,they have many good performances such as beautiful simplicity,crisp,light weight,small bar and nodes,stable and so on.So the Partial Double Layer Reticulated shell will be the future direction for the development of reticulated shell.In the light of Kiewitt and Schwedler,there is research to compare in different span,different rise-to-span ratio and different specifications of the structure dynamic performances.In this paper,large-scale finite element software ANSYS was used to comprehensive in-depth study on the structural static performance,the dynamic characteristics,and the seismic performance.First of all according to the current trend of development of the reticulated shell structures,and combined with engineering example the concepts,characteristics, classification and application are presented in this paper.Secondly,the static characteristic of partial double-layer reticulated shell is discussed.The internal force,displacement and load-transform mechanics of structure induced by vertical and horizontal loads are studied.Thirdly,the modal analysis and harmony load response analysis and further study of the dynamic properties of such structures are also discussed,then the analysis about this structural under the regular event of an earthquake of the flexibility time-history analysis and under the rare event of an earthquake of the elastic-plastic time-history analysis are give in this paper.I gained many helpful conclusions for engineering design.Finally,some conclusions about the theoretical analysis method are draw,which provide the reasonable theory and reliable data for the revision of the partial double-layer reticulated shells.
