On Regional Culture Transmission And Inheritance Of Residence In The Construction Of New Countryside In Plain Area Of Yinchuan

As an important part of the dwelling form, the traditional residence plays a significant role in residence construction. Modern residence construction in the construction of new countryside, as an important carrier to reflect the traditional residence, has been given more and more attention. With a deeper understanding of the buildings of countryside, people attached more and more importance to the traditional residence. It has become an increasingly severe problem for us that how the regional culture of traditional residence can be transmitted and inherited.Taking the modern residences in the construction of new countryside in plain area of Yinchuan as an example, the thesis, by investigating the cultural background, architectural style, spatial arrangement, decorative art, constructive technique and material of former residences of Dong Mansion and Mayue Slope, summarized the regional characteristics of traditional residence construction and the common features of residence culture in the plain area of Yinchuan: they all strictly abide by the classical architectural Etiquette, have strong regional and ethical characteristics, and according to the special local geographical position and climate, adopt suitable architectural structure and technique as well the traditional decorative methods (brick carving, wood carving, and colored drawing) handed down for thousands of years in the local area.Secondly, through investigating the cultural background, architectural style, spatial arrangement, decorative art, constructive technique and material of five modern residences of new countryside, the thesis summarizes the architectural characteristics of modern residences in the plain area of Yinchuan: basically adopt the style of traditional residence and new structural system and architectural materials, completely give up the application of traditional residence decoration.Thirdly, by comparing traditional residence and modern residence, this thesis summarizes what kinds of regional culture of traditional residence have been inherited and developed by modern residences in the process of transmission of local residence culture, and what kinds of traditional residence culture have been discarded, and then it puts forward subjective and objective reasons for this phenomenon.
