Investigation On Steel Residencet And Compared The Performance Of Column In Lower High-rise Structure

Now,people have paid more and more attention to steel structure buildings just because it is the future trendency of residential buildings.So we have made a comprehensive survey in Beijing,Tianjin,Shandong,Shanghai,Zhejiang and Wuhan on the application of residential steel structures in our country to find the obstacles from the aspects of society and the technology and to make a breakthrough in the steel structure buildings.Based on the investigation,the paper focuses on the following:(1) Steel structure buildings conventional types,technical characteristics and the scope of application are introduced.The proposal for different heights of buildings is given.Having visited some of the domestic steel residential projects,we have learned the application of structure types,component type,wall system,and construction technology of the house buildning.Meanwhile a lot of survey questionnaires are sent out in order to understand the actual situation of domestic steel structures.(2) Summing up the practical application of domestic steel structure buildings with the research and some issues relateing are analyzed(including the structure of selection, beam,column forms,etc.).Its covelusions may offer proposals for the development of China's steel structure.In practice,the common section of column are:H-stee1,round steel pipe and square steel tube.Now,people have some different views on the performance of these columns,especially on the round and square tubular columns.Taking a ten-story structure for model,using ETABS to analyze and compare,we get the mechanical performance of the column in different section shape such as the lateral displacement of structure,stress ration of collume,natural frequency and bottom shear force.Finally,we draw a conclusion that square steel tube column in the ten-story steel structure has the best performance.It followed by round steel pipe.H-shape section is the worst.As for the application of the structure system,cold-ormed steel components system can be used to light low-rise residences;H-shaped steel structure is applicable to multi-storey;square steel columns structure can be used to high-rise structure.
