Research On Plant Landscape Design Of Urban Comprehensive Park

The urban comprehensive park is one important part of urban environment construction, meanwhile, the plant landscape is the most important landscape element in comprehensive park, whose design level not only reflects esthetic appeal but also demonstrates the local social life and the spiritual style. Therefore, the research on plant landscape design of urban comprehensive park has certain significance to improve landscape effects of the park.In this paper, we investigated plant landscape of comprehensive parks in Shanghai, Beijing and Harbin, and analyzed the plant landscape design characteristic of different urban comprehensive parks. We expect to provide useful information for plant landscape design of urban comprehensive park. The plant landscape design method about the different garden elements were studied according to relations between plant landscape and other garden elements, and the plant space forms and constructions of urban comprehensive park also were studied. At last, the paper summaried the basic thoughts of plant landscape design from the view of scenery regionalization and function regionalization.The result showed that different plant landscape of urban comprehensive park reflected different form of every garden element. Plant space in comprehensive park had special feature, and could form scenery regionalization or function regionalization by constructing with many kinds of methods, but the basic forms of plant landscape in urban comprehensive park in different scenery regionalization and function regionalization were not in uniform. Through analyzing the typical case, we also discovered that the plant landscape of comprehensive park might enhancement culture flavor by plant selection, designing plant shape and color and the other way of artificial artistic processing, This could deepened understanding the plant landscape of urban comprehensive park. According to above conclusion, we proposed the basic plant landscape design principle and method of the comprehensive park. In addition, we also proposed some suggestions for the further related plant landscape design depending on the discovery during the research process.
