As one important means of transport in the modern society, the safety of automobile's operation is more and more attention by people. In addition, electronic control technology has infiltrated into various systems of vehicles, and vehicle structure is more and more complex, the degree of automation is more and more high, which make demands on the tracking security services and maintenance skills higher. Remote monitoring and fault prediction system for running status of vehicle is mainly in the process of acquisition parameters for vehicles running, the parameters are analyzed by remote monitoring center, vehicles and the monitoring center achieve interoperability via wireless GPRS networks, in order to achieve real-time monitoring of vehicles and diagnostic purposes.Because of the uncertainty of the location, vehicles can't be connected with the remote monitoring by wire, but it can be made up by GPRS technology, which is a mature technology used for data transmission in wireless way, it just can make up for the above-mentioned disadvantage. Article has been study of the GPRS wireless module, and from the point of view for extended the system, has analyzed GPRS connection with the Internet, and provided the most basic technical assurance for the vehicle remote monitoring system.The main research in the article is the development of the automotive part of the remote monitoring and fault prediction system, which is known as on-board system. First, the function of the demand for on-board system has been analyzed in the article, the overall framework of a on-board system been constructed, in accordance with the required of hydraulic braking system's parameters which was collected, sensors been selected; the article focused on making a study of the TMS320F2812 and MATLAB joint development of the filter, the A/D conversion of the TMS320F2812 and wireless transmission of the program conducted; After that hardware platforms of the system were designed, which including minimum system of DSP, LCD display, GPRS wireless communication module, as well as OBD interface circuit; In the software, for the implementation of the main control module control sub modules, GPRS module for wireless transmission, as well as the LCD module display normally, the article has carried out analysis and research, and mapped out software flow charts, and gave the preparation of some software programs.
