As the rapid economic development of our country, the pursuit of electric power measurement management level and Measuring meters automation is increasing day by day. The traditional manual metering brings losses to the power supply departments. Now communication electronics technology developing rapidly, power measurement gradually tend to intelligent direction. So this thesis designs a high voltage-remote electric quantity acquisition and control device. It is used for remote power measurement and control in high voltage power distribution network transmission.This thesis first introduces the development present situation of distribution network power remote acquisition and control system, then discusses the overall design ideas of the device. The structure and principle of high voltage-remote meter reading system was given in the thesis, also the composition and characteristics of GPRS communication system and the function of monitoring terminal is shown in it. Then the article give the analysis and design of system’s hardware and software. At last conclusion and outlook will shown.The high voltage-remote meter reading system which based on GPRS includes acquisition and storage, GPRS data transmission, digital electric energy meter, transformer and vacuum circuit breaker.etc. The characteristic of this system is using two MCU to control and process. The main MCU in charge of data collection and communication, auxiliary MCU is used to control circuit breaker for users’ off/power operation, greatly improving the reliability and safety of the system. The GPRS communication mode which has advantages and representative is used in data transmission part. GPRS technology has good real-time, fast transmission speed, large system capacity, greatly improving the data acquisition speed and real-time.This topic design of high voltage-remote electric quantity acquisition and control system was debugged successfully in the laboratory. The system has good real-time, high reliability, can be certainly extended, meter reading data accurate, remote management and some other characteristics.
